The NPA is a nonpartisan public assembly and provides a forum to learn about all candidates for office.
NPA Announcements – 10 minutes (6:30 – 6:40):

Justice of the Peace Candidates – 10 minutes (6:55 – 7:00)
Ballot Issue 1 – Approval to issue bonds for Burlington High School in amount not to exceed $70 million– 20 minutes (7:00 – 7:20):
Ballot Issue 2 - Approval to issue bonds for Wastewater and Stormwater Utility Projects in an amount not to exceed $30 million (or $29,958,000 to be exact) 20 minutes (7:20 – 7:40)
Onyx Coffee Door Prize – 10 minutes (7:40 – 7:50)
Candidate Forums– 40 minutes (7:50 – 8:30)
Meeting concludes at 8:30pm

- We invited as many candidates on the ballot for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Senate, State Representative and Probate Judge, as we could contact. We thank all those who could come tonight and understand that many had previous commitments.
